Episode 1. The All Things Screen Podcast is very excited to introduce our first guest - producer Janine Morrell-Gunn, ONZM.

We joined Janine on location in her office at Whitebait Media, where she is one of the dynamic, driving forces behind Whitebait's success. She is the producer of many iconic Kiwi TV series including Bumble and What Now.
In this episode, Janine talks about how she got started, what it's taken for her to achieve industry longevity, and how to focus on what's really important. So get ready to learn some tips and tricks from one of the masters in the game. Enjoy!

Episode 2. David White has produced and directed a substantial body of documentary and drama work that has enjoyed considerable national and international success. His work has screened at over 50 film festivals including Sundance, Silver Docs, South by Southwest, and Tribeca. Among them are 'Meat', ,Shihad - Beautiful Machine', 'I Kill', 'Little Criminals', 'The Cleanest Pig', and 'This Town'. His runaway hit TV show 'Far North' has garnered the highest ratings that 3 Now has had since the launch of their app for any national or international drama. He created, wrote, directed, and executive produced the series which stars Robyn Malcolm and Temuera Morrison.

David was our guest at the Waitaha Screen Wananga which was recorded in front of a live audience. We talk to him about how he got started and more importantly, how he continues to create the content he really wants to make.

Episode 3. Our guest in this episode is narrative designer Alexander Swords. Alexander is a a writer and narrative designer working across game development and the adaptation and evolution of stories moving into new mediums. He is an author, teacher, speaker, and advocate who is in demand across Europe, Australasia and North America.

We were VERY lucky to host him at the Waitaha Screen Wananga so get ready to hear some truly innovative thinking on how to approach storytelling in our current context. Enjoy!

Episode 4. Our guest on today's episode is Glenn Standring. Glenn is an award-winning filmmaker who wrote the Dead Lands, and 6 Days, and has directed TV series such as Spartacus, Perfect Creature, and the Truth about Demons.
Glenn was our guest at the Waitaha Screen Wananga last year and one of our tutors and mentors at the Waitaha Screen Story Incubator. He shares how he has gotten in touch with his Maori heritage and gives us some tips to making meaningful content. Enjoy!
