Air Force Museum of New Zealand

The Air Force Museum of New Zealand is the national museum for the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF), located on the former air base at Wigram, Christchurch. The Museum preserves and shares this history of New Zealand military aviation. Among many things, this includes the RNZAF’s long association with the Ice: from the formation of the Antarctic Flight for the 1955-58 Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition, to the ongoing support of Operation Deep Freeze and New Zealand’s Antarctic programme.

Open 9.30am-4.30pm every day, FREE entry.
