Tasman Glacier Ice Cave & Picnic Experience is a family-friendly adventure suitable for ages 10 and up. Explore the lower Tasman Glacier, where you’ll either navigate stunning ice caves or the striking seracs of the upper Glacier Neve, depending on conditions. Your adventure begins with a scenic helicopter or ski plane flight - sometimes both - taking you to breathtaking landing sites. The experience is inclusive of the spectacular scenic flight and a delightful picnic with magnificent views of Aoraki/Mt. Cook and the Southern Alps. After enjoying your meal, you’ll take another scenic flight back to the base. All gear is provided, and no prior experience is needed, making this a perfect outing for adventurers of all fitness levels.
