Lake Tekapo Backpackers Lakefront Lodge has been built specifically for backpacker travellers. A stone’s throw from the shore with grandstand views of the lake and mountains, our Lakefront Lodge is purpose-built for backpacker travellers. It sleeps 78 people in a variety of comfortable rooms ranging from doubles and twins to four- and six-bed dormitories. Self-cater in the well equipped kitchen and relax in the sociable lounge and dining area. The lodge is great groups, couples and the individual traveller.
We offer a free pick up and drop off service to the village on arrival and departure for our backpackers. Please ring us prior to organize this if possible, if not ring us when you arrive. Free phone 0800 853 853.
