New Dates Announced: Directing Documentary Master Class

Multi-award winning Documentary Filmmaker and New Zealand Arts Laureate Leanne Pooley ONZM has been offering this Masterclass for the past 15 years. The 2-day course covers the documentary process from the initial idea through to completion and distribution. There is an emphasis on effective storytelling - how to turn a topic into a story and a story into a film.

The Directing Documentary Masterclass has been rescheduled to September 19 & 20 in Christchurch at Yoobee.

There are spaces open for this class and still time to book your place.

All Content Creators are Welcome!

The programme has broad appeal across multiple content creation disciplines from TV commercial directors wanting to tell a story in commercial short form or cross over to long form, cinematographers, editors and other industry professionals who would like to direct their own projects, producers looking for a better understanding of how to support and get the most from the directors they are working with to established filmmakers looking for a reboot. In a world where everything from sponsored content to feature films are looking to documentary for inspiration this course is a valuable and exciting opportunity.
