Rooftop Bars

Summer is here and Ōtautahi is where it's at with the best spots to soak up the rays and the views! Take after-work drinks up a level and enjoy cocktails from new heights. For the best lookouts in the CBD, our rooftop bars have you sorted.

The Pink Lady sits above the boutique Muse Hotel at 159 Manchester St. Mr. Brightside, in the former Public Trust building on 152 Oxford Terrace, and The ONE Restaurant & Bar is on level 5 of the Christchurch City Hotel at 699 Colombo Street.

The Pink Lady Rooftop Bar

Perched on the seventh-floor penthouse level of the heritage listed, 1960’s Muse Hotel building is the Pink Lady rooftop bar.

While you're there take in the grand 360’ views of the city, and enjoy rooftop ready wines, craft beer from Fortune Favours and Hamptons-meets-Miami inspired cocktails.

It has an array of yummy snacks to enjoy from their bright and breezy Baja-inspired menu — you have to try the fried chicken!

The Pink Lady is popular so get there early or make a reservation through its site.

Open Tuesday-Friday 3pm to late and Saturday and Sunday 12pm to late.

Mr. Brightside Rooftop Bar

Mr. Brightside caps the refurbished Public Trust building on Oxford Terrace, adding yet another dimension to Ōtautahi Christchurch’s vibrant city centre.

Their motto, ‘Always look on the bright side of life,’ reflects the cool interior and fun vibes of this penthouse-style rooftop bar (the roof is even retractable). While you’re taking in the sights, indulge in their wide range of cocktails, spirits and beers and try something from their delicious selection of gourmet food.

They also have a fabulous long brunch menu which is a great way to try a range of the best cocktails and sharing plates!

Open Tuesday-Sunday 12pm to late.

The ONE Restaurant & Bar

The One Restaurant & Bar sits on the rooftop of the Christchurch City Hotel and is the newest addition to the rooftop bar scene in Ōtautahi.
